Another wonderful trip to Pick N Save
So, I went out and shopped at Pick N Save Double Doubles again. I did 6 transactions and OOP was $41.35. My total shopping was $250.17
I found a great deal while I was shopping. They had $1.00 off peelies for the Minute Rice frozen steamers, since the coupon doubled, and they were priced $1.99. I got several bags free. Also, another good deal while I was shopping was the Tuna. Starkist Tuna was on clearance for.74 cents and 1.05. When you bought them you got a $1.50 on your next shopping trip. I used those to bring down the other balances.
I picked up:
2 packs of Angus Beef Franks
4 2 liters of Coke Products ( used my recycle bank coupons and they were on sale)
8 boxes of Quick Cook Noodles
25 assorted packages of Starkist tuna (low sodium) My husband is sooo happy! And no I didn't clearn the shelf, they had a lot more.
16 bags of Minute Rice Steamers
10 containers of Philly Creamers
1 box of Sandwich bags ( used one of the $1.50 next shopping order to bring the cost of these down)
1 box of Mrs. T's Perogies
5 pounds of skinless, boneless chicken breast
2 8oz packages of block cheese
1 Oscar Mayers Hot Dogs
3 packs of Crystal Light Peach Tea, On sale and I had a B2GO
1 box of Wheat Thins Stix
3 boxes of Fruity Pebbles Snack Bars
2 gallons milk
2 dozen eggs
5 bottles of international delight coffee creamers
2 boxes of Celestial Seasonings Green Tea
1 head of lettuce
2 containers of Silk Soy Milk ( again my husband is happy!)
:) My husband was thrilled! Between the Philly Creamers, the chicken and the noodles. We will be having a lot of different chicken dishes in the next couple weeks. :) Cheap!!

I found those minute rice steamers at my store too but the coupons were all expired! Glad you found some good ones!
Jess,
I just looked at the peelies. OH MY GOD! You are right!!! I always look at my coupons, but due to the fact that they were on the package, I didn't even think of it!! Oh my Goodness! I feel awful! I am going to call Pick N Save right now!
Thank you for pointing it out to me!
Oh KRAPATOLLI! ( as my son would say!)
I just got off the phone with Pick N Save. I spoke to Kim at Customer Service. I apologized up and down and told her what I did. I told her that I checked all my coupons, but since those were peelies on the package at the store, that I didn't check them! I said I would come in and pay for them right away. OH JESS I FEEL AWFUL!
She laughed and said they are given 30 days to redeem them so they will still get reimbursed for them. She told me I didn't need to come in and that it's okay. She just said to double check them next time. She also asked me which aisle I found them so she can send a worker back there to pull off all the other peelies of the bags.
I told her that I just wanted the store to know so that they didn't think I tried to do anything wrong. Again I said I would come in and pay for them and again she insisted that it's okay. We all make mistakes. I thanked her for her kindness.
I still feel bad but glad I was honest and told her.
You are too sweet. Most people would have just been proud of themselves for "beating the system!". I have been told at Pick N Save (by store manager) that they will take coupons up to two weeks after the date. I usually stick to within a week though because once I had a cashier pull out all the ones that were even a few days expired and tell me I couldn't use them. It was really late at night and I was tired so I just returned those particular items and had her toss the coupons.
Something similar happened to me this week actually . . . I bought supplies for my Tea Party Rally sign at Office Max and on the way home was thinking the price was lower than I anticipated. Then I looked at the receipt and noticed the guy didn't charge me for the foam board that was under the sign he just laminated. I called the guy right away and he remembered me. I tried to give him my debit card number so he could charge me but he said there was no way to take payments over the phone and he appreciated my honesty so I should just keep the board and he would adjust his inventory to show it was "sold" - he thanked me several times for being honest.
So our two stories show that everyone makes mistakes and honesty really is the best policy :o) Along with: no coupon fraud. And the entirety of the Bible!
Jess...maybe your my long lost sister??? LOL!!! Thanks for the words of encouragement. It means alot!
I got some nreat deals at Pick N Save also
Some freebies were Reynold's Parchment Paper, Kraft Mozzarella Cheese, Newman's Spaghetti Sauce and Kraft Cooking Creme. We scored this week!

I honestly can not even remember if this is everything or not. Everything was a lil less than $51.00!!! Woo Hoo!!! :)
8 8 oz blocks Roundy's cheese
2 packs Country style ribs
4 Gal Milk (free after coupon from last week)
2 P/C Bacon

Were the quick cook noodles included in the $10 for $10 Creamette pasta sale?
Also, were the "Oscar Mayer Selects" hot dogs included in the sale. I have $1.00 off coupons on specifically the selects kind.
Hi Penny,
No, they weren't, but they maybe this week. They were priced $1.16 each and I got $1.10 off ( .55 cent double coupon), so I paid .06 cents a box.
I am new to couponing and am trying to find coupons for this weeks pick n save deals, but am having a hard time, do you have any sugestions as to where to look and which products have the best deals for the week?
GF! Sure!!
First of all, I would go through all my coupons. Find any that are for $1.00 off any ONE!
Example: DId you print the IP coupons for the Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs Last week? That coupon was $1.00 off of ONE package of Oscar Mayer Hot Dogs. The hot dogs are not on sale but they are priced $2.49 at my store. So, I paid .49 cents after the coupon doubled.
Another example: Quick Cook Noodles had a coupon in the sunday paper for .55 cents off ONE box. They are priced $1.16 at my Pick N Save ( not on sale). The .55 cent coupon doubled to $1.10, which made the noodles .06 cents a box.
So, don't only look at the sales.
With that said, I don't know your coupon supply, so I have no idea what coupons you have. But, this week, Ronzoni Healthy Harvest noodles, Gareden Delight Noodles, and Smart Taste noodles are all $1.00 on sale. There are coupons for $1.00 off 2 boxes, when that coupon doubles, you get both boxes free. Old Orchard Juice is on sale for $1.00 each, if you have the .25 cent off coupons from their website, you can double those and get the juice for .50 cents each. Also, always check yogart. There is lots of $1.00 off coupons and most yogart at Pick n Save is around $2.39 for the 4 or 6 pack, so you pay around .39 cents for a 4 pack. Snyder Pretzels are on sale too, but I don't remember the coupon values that were out there for those. Those might be a good deal.
There are lots of $1.00 items this week, so go through your binder and see what you have that may be .50 cent coupons, they may get you a few freebies that way too.
Kool Aid and Crystal Light is also on sale this week. There are lots of coupons out there for those! They had B2G1 Free Coupons for Crystal Light and they had tear pad coupons all over the place for the Kool Aid!!
General Mills Cereals are $1.99, I don't have my coupons in front of me, but I bet you can fine some decent deals there. I just stocked up on cereal because they had the buy 6 boxes get 2 free milks.
I hope that helps!
