Did anyone go today?? I did. It's late and I am tired, so I am going to do a short report. :)
7 transactions. Saved 66%. I was shocked at how high prices are. I bought alot of treat things for upcoming events. Instead of showing each transaction I will just list. OOP was $83.95

So, was that worth $83? I felt like I could have done better, but with 2 kids and being exhusted didn't help. I did save over $162.00.
I did have a good mail day. I got another $10.50 check from a survey company and I got some coupons. Also, a woman at work gave me a frozen lasagna, so that is a free dinner. :)
Good night..I am beat!

We have 4 stores in my area and two different sale rotations so sometimes I plan for a sale price and end up at the wrong store :o) Then I just go to the other one so it works out. Dragged my hubby and kids to one store run - ended up rescuing my husband from a pile of coupons, he was scratching his head so I just traded carts with him and finished his pile. Ended up doubling 120 coupons and using another 20 or so $2 ones. Got some cool stockpiles products and a bunch of stuff to give away. The last time I checked out, I actually ran into an assistant manager who didn't know it was double double day (at 7 p.m.) - he must have been working with his eyes shut cause the store was mobbed! I was able to leave a bunch of coupons on the shelves and gave some away to neighbors that were there too - I enjoy sharing coupons! A good coupon day. Time to rest!
I have been noticing that the coupon deals on food just are not as good as they used to be. Pick N Save seems to be raising it's prices & not having as many free ADC deals as they used to too. I am still going to shop there every week & I did get a number of things free this week. It just hasn't been as good as it used to be. Everywhere too, not just Pick N Save.
@ Jess, What was your OOP?
Penny I agree. Pick n Save prices have gone up, which is a bummer! I always thought as Pick n Save as one of the most family cost friendly stores, but it's getting most expensive.
I am going over to Woodman's for a trip, I have been impressed with their selection and prices.
I am still using Aldi's for some things.
Just have to keep watching prices and get the best deal we can.
