Well, yesterday we had the chicken I bought back on the 17th. We used the rotissarre and cooked it, today we used the leftover chicken, frozen veggies, a chopped potatoes and some spices and made a chicken soup. We had biscuits from the trip the other day. Yummy eating!!
Then I went to Piggly Wiggly. They had an 11 for $10.00 deal.
I had my $2.00 RR from the other day so I used it.
1 3 pound bag of apples, on sale for $1.50
3 Naturals Fruit Cups, on sale for $1.00, had a $1.00 off 3 coupon
8 frozen pizzas, on sale for 8/$20 and you get a $10 rebate back
1 head of Lettuce 79 cents on sale
5 cans of soup, $1.00 each and I had $1.00/3 and .50 cents /2 coupons
3 boxes of Rice a Roni, $1.00 each, had a $1.00off/3 coupon
1 loaf of bread, on sale for .69 cents
1 milk, $1.69 on sale
Total: $42.67
After coupons: $29.17 and I am getting a $10 rebate back.
So, I added up all my grocery trips, my walgreens trips but not the one Walmart trip where I bought shoes because nothing in my grocery budget was spent. Anyways, My total for the month of Jan (with 3 days left) is $146.65.
