Coupon Network Premium Service

So many coupons are now online and no longer found in the newspaper, but they typically are for smaller amounts and getting higher value coupons is tough. Well, Coupon Network is going to change all that. They now have an offer for $3.00 a month or $30.00 a year to belong to their "premium" service. You can one month free to try it, and if it doesn't work for you, you can cancel it. You do have to apply with your credit card, and as most people who have attended my workshops know I don't typically advocate for you to put your credit card number on any deal. Walgreens Maxi Pad deal...unadvertised..

When I was in Walgreens today, they had lots of clearance. One great deal I found was that specific W Brand Max Pads are on clearance BUT they still apply to the B1G1 50% off. I found 24 packs for $1.49 and with the 50% off sale, I got the second pack for .74 cents!!!  So I paid under $2.50 for 2 packs of pads!!!

Well, I went out and did Double Coupons Yesterday. I just wanted to report in...$244 worth of groceries for $87.00. 65%. Not bad considering I forgot two of my freebie coupons! LOL!

Quaker Oatmeal Real Medley's are B3G1 Free at Target. They are $1.69 here where I live. If you have the current issue of All You Magazine, there was a coupon for $1.00 off 2 Quaker Products. That took off $33.96. So, I paid 58.86 for 20 reams of paper. AND I am getting back $87.96  back in Rewards!!!! That is a $29 money maker!

Then I went to Menards. I spent 5.86 OOP and I will be getting $20.96 back in rebates!!!

McDonald's Free Hot McCafe Drink

Today, I went and bought a McCafe, this is not my normal routine, but I had a coupon and I wanted a treat.  Anyways, I sw a sticker on the cup and it said "one point".  Keep your eyes peeled for these stickers...five of these stickers gets you a free hot Mc Cafe from McDonalds!!!!!!  Card expires April 30th, 2013.  You have to buy a medium or large  hot beverage to get the stickers. Not all McDonalds are participating, so check with your local MD's!

Book Review: Come to the Table

Over Christmas Break, B&B Media asked me to read and review this book and share it with my readers. I was excited by this opportunity but you know how the holidays are...time just gets away from you. So, this past week, I had the wonderful "job" of reading this book.

First, let me tell you, that when I heard the name "Neta Jackson". I pictured a young, hip woman that was family orientated Christian. Well, I was blessed to meet Neta over my Christmas Break and she was spunky, young at heart and amazing...I am glad I was blessed to meet her.

This book is the second book in the series and since I hadn't read the first one, I was afraid I wasn't going to get into the story. I was so wrong. This book had me engrossed by page 10, the kiss on the cheek and the 3 women living under one roof!  I have read the Yada Yada Prayer Group series and loved it! This story has characters from that series that intertwined within the story. I loved how Neta developed the characters. They are women we can all relate to. Women from different walks of life, ages and situations. They experience the pain of indecision and the uncertainty of love. I don't want to give too much of the story away, but Kat struggles to figure out her relationships while trying to figure out her future. Her pull to open a food pantry was to help feed people, but little did she know that God wanted her to do so much more with that food pantry! It even opened up doors for others that wasn't even on her mind.  I came to like her "love interest" Nick as well. He is down to earth, strong, moral yet real and not perfect. His struggle to be involved with a child yet not be a "fill in" daddy.

The story line did get a bit long for me, because I have no patience and I wanted the two love birds to figure everything out! Yet, I can understand why Neta wrote the story the way she did. It's her way of teaching us that everything good comes in time and comes at God's pace and his will, not our own. I enjoyed how Kat reflected on her choices, admitted when she didn't always listen to God and how she struggled to figure it out and realizing where the real struggle was.

Some parts of the ending, I didn't see coming, but I am glad they turned out the way they did. I am now wanting more and will pick up the first book in this series.  I love how God has used Neta to come up with some amazing stories that teach, have humor and hit it's readers right in the heart.

If you are looking to get into a great series, I strongly encourage you to pick up Souled Out Sisters book one titled Stand By Me, and also, Come to the Table (Souled Out Sisters Book 2). If you also would like, go and find the Yada Yada Prayer Group and read those. You will not be disappointed and it will allow you to meet many wonderful ladies that are dealing with life just as all of us Christian Women are.

You can get this book at most Christian Book stores or online. Please buy it, read it and pass it on to another friend who could use a positive burst of Christian Storytelling!!
